We also have a selection of daily specials. Our bar menu is also served in our first floor restaurant on Saturdays, Sundays, and during busy periods. Our menu is seasonal and changes accordingly. Enjoy delicious seafood and fresh dishes that are prepared by our creative kitchen team.

We also serve classic dishes throughout the year like our famous Wrights Fish and Chips. This is an extremely popular Irish dish that has to be tried, especially when visiting Howth! It consists of battered and deep-fried fresh fish and is served with fries, homemade tartar sauce and pea puree.

While there may not be a specific “Howth-style” seafood chowder, our chowder is definitely worth visiting us for and we would confidently say it’s the best in Howth! A creamy seafood and vegetable broth packed with prawns, mussels, smoked and fresh fish served with home-made Irish Guinness soda bread.

Why not try some of our famous Findlater chicken wings, burgers, steaks, salads and more! We have some great gluten free and vegan options too. Aside from our bar menu, we have a group set menu, buffet menu, finger food and canape options, BBQ menu (seasonal) and a fantastic wedding menu.

Meet Steven Burling

Head Chef, Findlaters

Born and raised in Australia, Steven has lived in Ireland for the past 23 years and brings over 30 years of culinary experience from kitchens across Australia, England, and Ireland.

His cooking has been shaped by classical French training and the exciting Australian fusion food scene, which inspired his approach to flavour and creativity. Outside the kitchen, he enjoys the vibrant tastes of Thai and Korean cuisine.

As Head Chef at Findlater’s, Steven thrives in an environment where no two days are ever the same. The kitchen is energetic, creative, and fast-moving, with every service bringing new challenges and opportunities to deliver exceptional food and memorable experiences.

One of the things Steven values most about Findlater’s is the incredible team behind it. Bringing together talent from Sri Lanka, Nepal, Spain, Brazil, Ukraine, and Ireland, the kitchen reflects a rich mix of cultures, ideas, and culinary traditions. This diversity helps create a unique atmosphere and a shared passion for ensuring every guest enjoys the very best of what Findlater’s has to offer.
